Location: Old Mill is located 7 miles south of Carfraemill on the Edinburgh-Coldstream road (A697). Less than 4 miles from the Royal Burgh of Lauder with its wonderful local shops and eating out options:

Important: The Old Mill is right next to fast-flowing water and as such may not be suitable for children. Note that some noise from the A697 can be heard from the grounds of the Old Mill – though this is extremely limited inside the building.

- What Guests Say -

“We stayed in The Bothy and it was beautiful – everything was there to make it home from home. I just wish we’d stayed longer but hopefully we will be back. The surrounding area is so tranquil and peaceful. Ruth was lovely and even supplied us with wellies for the day so we could explore surrounding areas. Thanks again and hopefully we will be back soon.”
